Along with the amazing home baked breads, cookies and pastries, Love Heart's Bakery serves a great breakfast. Simple and Savory. Jay, The Ol'Man and I just had a tasty egg and cheese sandwich served on Allison's own English Muffin Bread. Yeah! Yumm!
The Deli is pretty delish too.She has a great variety of sandwiches, wraps, and salads with good things for vegetarians,vegans, and those with a liking for gluten-free. My carnivore husband gave the two thumbs up to the New Orleans Pulled Chicken Wrap.I had the Roasted Vege Vegetarian sandwich served on Al's homemade bread. Super good!
Besides the great food, the place is just straight up cool. A little piece of Vermont on route 202. Friendly, Laid-back, and Artful.Speaking of Art, Allison's parent's place,The Artist's Path, is connected to the bakery.So while your waiting for your artisan breakfast or lunch you can peruse the gallery. Allison's mom, Lori Barker, makes some gorgeous mixed media wall art and jewelry pieces.Mr. and Mrs. Barker, both working artists, provide a space for local artists and creative events.
